Dr Abdulrazaq Garba is the Director General of the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency (NGSA).
With a career spanning more than 30 years in the industry and specialization in mineral
exploration, assessment and targeting, he has made contributions and efforts leading to a
number of mineral discoveries. He supervised and coordinated the recently concluded National
Integrated Mineral Exploration Project (NIMEP), which was an effort of the Government of
Nigeria to rapidly derisk the mining space along some identified metallogenic belts. He has been
actively involved in geological activities that have evolved into key publications and projects. Dr.
Garba is a member of several societies and also a Fellow of the Geological Society of London
and the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, Fellow National Association for Engineering
Geology and the Environment, Fellow Geoinformation Society of Nigeria. He is currently the
President, Nigerian Society of Economic Geologists.

Hajiya. Fatima Umaru Shinkafi is the current Chief Executive of the Solid Minerals Development Fund and the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining Development Initiative (PAGMI). The Solid Minerals Development Fund is a Government-owned Fund established to drive investments in Nigeria’s mining sector. As a funding vehicle, SMDF’s key role will be to maximize recovery of mining investments to drive sector growth, the Fund is currently responsible for implementing PAGMI. Over US$500-600m of projects have been identified that SMDF could drive across formalization, data development, production and processing in the next 5 years.
Hajiya Fatima has extensive knowledge of the mining sector, with previous experience spearheading the re-structuring of artisanal miners and cooperatives in the key gold producing region.

Mr. Olu Adedayo holds BSc. Industry Chemistry from University of Lagos and MBA International Finance from Westminster Business School, London. Olu is also Global CEO graduate of the IESE business school Barcelona and an Alumni of Lagos business school, Wharton Business
school Philadelphia and The Chinese European Business school Shanghai.
Olu has a strong IT and analytical background from over 17 years banking and IT experience working both in Nigeria and the UK. He was a pioneer member of staff of Liberty Merchant Bank (Nigeria) Limited, he worked both in Administration and Treasury departments in various roles.
He later moved to Citizens International Bank and finally left as their Chief Foreign Exchange dealer. Olu worked as a Senior Analyst for Warburg & Pincus Uk an American investment bank and engineered the acquisitions of companies such as Charcol, Charcol Online, Bradford & Bingley Building Society, Ellert Retail Limited and American online Europe.. Olu was involved in the setup of a Telecoms company called Proxy Connet (UK) Limited which covered Europe and Africa.
Olu was the business development director till he left Olu was the Group Chief operating officer for 8 years of Baklang group an indigenously owned oil and gas services Company in Nigeria and up until October 2019 the CEO of Preston technologies Limited a Mining company involved in the Exploration and Mining of Gold, Granite Agate and Tourmaline in Osun state.
Currently Olu is the Senior Special Assitant to The Federal Minister of Mines and steel Development. Olu is also minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. And a passionate motivational speaker involved in various youth empowerment groups for business and entrepreneurial skills. Olu has taken part in many programs for the Arewa and Omo Oduduwa youth foundations
